Senior SMT Technician

About the Role

You will be responsible for programming and introducing new SMT products from concept through to production, supporting SMT operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Program new SMT products from start to finish.
• Create and maintain pick-and-place programs and component packages.
• Develop and optimise reflow profiles.
• Set up, operate and monitor SMT equipment.
• Conduct first-off inspections and quality checks.
• Support and train SMT operators and technicians.

Skills & Experience Required

• 3–5 years’ experience in a technical SMT role.
• Strong knowledge of SMT assembly processes.
• Experience with SMT equipment and offline programming software.
• Understanding of IPC standards and ESD requirements.
