onAs a Shipping & Supply Chain Supervisor you will report in to the Operations Director on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the following areas for responsibility across the Nottingham offic
- e:Managing a small team of 5 specialist shipping, freight and supply chain specialist across road, air & sea freig
- htConduct HR procedures such as RTW’s, absence reviews, performance manageme
- ntPlan, schedule, and oversee export and import shipments with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport providers. Ensuring cargo is booked, loaded, and shipped according to customer and business requirements across a variety of different INCOTer
- msOverseeing the team responsible for preparing road, air and sea freight pricing & customer quotations – informing about the freight prices, port charges, cost of special documents, insurance prices as well as prices for handling the good
- s.Organising transport through third party transit means – such as air freight, sea freight and dedicated road freight transpor
- t.Monitor KPIs, investigate shipping discrepancies or delays, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service level
- s.Completing various types of shipping documentation such as bill of laden, airway bills, export licensing, commercial invoices, gaining certificates of origin et
- c.Handling customs entries and arranging billings for VAT/Duti
- esEnsure compliance with customs regulations, and international shipping requirements, resolving any customs-related issues that arise through utilising a network of customs broker
