Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the 2 Week Wait Dermatology contract across Greater Manchester, primarily around Oldham.
  • Collect stock and equipment, set up examination rooms, and act as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures.
  • Perform administrative duties, ensuring all reports are completed and documenting outcomes.
  • Maintain smooth clinic operation and deliver a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience.

Working Patterns & Locations

Work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns typically between 07:00‑19:00. The role is mobile: travel to any of our clinic sites across Manchester, Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Gloucestershire, Reading, Frimley, Slough, and Bassetlaw.

Requirements

  • Driving licence and own vehicle to visit multiple clinic sites.
  • Previous experience in administration preferred but not essential.
  • IT literate with proficiency in computer systems and software.
  • Demonstrated passion for providing high‑quality care and pride in your work.
  • Successful Disclosure and Barring Service check and right to work documentation.

Training

Enroll in a 2‑week comprehensive training course from day 1 of employment to develop all required skills.

What We Offer

  • Full‑time, permanent contract.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Starting salary: £27,144 p.a. (up to £28,641 when trained and signed off in additional disciplines such as Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology).

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Prior experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a hospital environment preferred.
  • NVQ in Health & Social Care preferred but not essential.
  • IT literate and proficient in computer systems.
  • Strong passion for delivering high‑quality care and sense of pride.
