Cover Supervisor

Salary: G5 SCP 16-20 £25,989 – £27,254 – FTE – Pay Award Pending

Actual Salary: £22,653 – £23,755 – Pay Award Pending

Working hours: 37 per week, Term time only plus 5 inset days (working 39 weeks a year)

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: September 2026

About the role

Are you a confident, adaptable, and proactive individual looking to make a real difference in education? We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Madeley School.

Responsibilities

In this vital support role, you will supervise classes across various subjects when the regular teacher is absent. The work will be fully set; your primary focus will be to manage classroom behaviour, ensure students remain on task, and assist them with the set activities.
