Job Overview
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Digital Print Operator / Trainee Printer to join a busy digital production department, supporting high-quality print work across digital presses and large format machinery.
As a Digital Print Operator / Trainee Printer you will either bring previous print room, digital print or production experience, or join as a trainee with full training provided to help you build a career in the print industry.
The role includes learning to set up and run Konica digital presses, Epson poster printing equipment, and Mimaki banner machinery, while also supporting print finishing, trimming, packing, guillotining and general production duties.

Duties
- Set up and run Konica digital presses
- Assist with the set up and running of the Epson poster printer
- Assist with the set up and running of the Mimaki banner machine
- Trim and pack large format posters ready for dispatch or further production
- Assemble banners accurately and to the required standard
- Assist with finishing tasks, including guillotining and related production processes
- Identify and pick paper from the warehouse for production requirements
- Fill machines with paper, ink and consumables as needed
- Carry out general shopfloor duties and support other departments when required
Candidate Requirements
- Applications are welcome from candidates with previous print production experience and from trainees looking to enter the industry for the first time
- Keen to receive training and develop skills across digital print, large format printing, finishing and production processes
- Confident carrying out hands‑on tasks such as trimming, packing, assembling, picking materials and supporting production
- Good team working ability in a busy production environment
- Flexible attitude, willing to support different departments and help wherever needed
- Attention to detail and ability to complete print and finishing work accurately and to a high standard
- Reliable, punctual and dependable, committed to maintaining smooth production workflows
- Previous experience in a digital production, print room, large format or finishing environment would be beneficial but is not essential
If you have experience working in a digital production environment, then great. If not, the company will provide full training and support.
