£20,911 – £21,929 pro rata per annum
Position
PE Technician – Permanent contract, 35 hours per week for 38.4 weeks of the year (term time plus 2 inset days). Grade 6 pay award pending.
Overview
We are seeking an organised, reliable and enthusiastic PE Technician to join our successful PE Department in Cranborne Middle School, Cranborne Chase.
Responsibilities
- Lead a range of extra‑curricular clubs at lunchtime and after school.
- Organise and attend fixtures and sporting events throughout the local area.
- Support the staff with the running of the Sports Leader programme.
- Assist teachers in lessons, working with a variety of small groups of pupils.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent and be competent in the use of a range of IT systems.
Ideal candidates would hold a qualification in coaching or officiating and/or have experience working in schools or with young people, although this is not essential.

Cranborne Middle School caters for approximately 250 pupils aged 9 to 13, set in the beautiful Cranborne Chase. The school takes pride in high academic standards and a nurturing and friendly environment for both children and staff.
