Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Pontypridd, Wales
Salary: £110 per day
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a leading specialist provider in Pontypridd. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in the education sector, working with secondary school pupils across Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students’ well‑being and educational development, making a real difference in their lives. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils in secondary schools across Pontypridd, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Support classroom activities and assist teachers as needed.
- Manage behaviour and promote engagement among students.
- Provide support to pupils with special educational needs where required.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Contribute to the overall well‑being and development of pupils.
Requirements
- Keen interest in working with children and young people.
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children and/or in the care sector.
- Open to training and development opportunities.
- Proactive work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Good understanding of special educational needs.
- Ability to provide a range of support to pupils.
- Patient, understanding, and able to work as part of a team.
