360 Excavator Operator

Job Summary

Kilnbridge is hiring 360 Excavator Operators with groundworks experience for a long-term infrastructure project in Suffolk.

Position Details

• Location: Suffolk




• Start: 01/06/2026




• Duration: 4 months or longer




• Pay rate: £24-£25 per hour




• Hours: 50 hours per week (paid)




• Days: Monday to Friday (no weekends at present)




• Lodgement allowance: £50 per night (4 nights per week)

Responsibilities

• Excavation and stockpile of materials for new bunds




• Placement and grading of regulating layer of Type 1 and shingle aggregates




• Filling of geotextile bags




• Construction of shingle bunds

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience operating 360 Excavators of various sizes




• Competent with groundworks, excavation, loading, and grading




• Experience working for tier 1 contractors on large scale developments (admirable)




• Competent CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Ticket – CSCS affiliation – essential




• Safety Critical Medical – SEQOSH accredited – essential




• Willingly undergo a DBS/Criminal Record Check – essential




• Must be able to provide proof of address – essential




• 5 year work history – essential




• Valid full UK driving licence – essential
