About the role
Bristol is launching an exciting new Advice, Information and Assessment Service (AIAS) – a redesigned front-door, multi-disciplinary team that will transform how residents access Adult Social Care support.
This innovative service has been created to reduce waiting lists, improve access to support, and deliver high-quality, face-to-face practice across the city. We’re looking for experienced and motivated Social Workers who can hit the ground running and play a key role in making this new service a success from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out face-to-face assessments in line with the Care Act 2014.
- Completing Mental Capacity Assessments and leading Best Interest decision-making.
- Managing and progressing Safeguarding Section 42 Enquiries to protect adults at risk.
- Providing advice, information, signposting, and preventative interventions to support early resolution.
- Working proactively to reduce waiting lists and improve access to Adult Social Care services.
- Collaborating within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
