The Role
- Process and verify financial transactions
- Liaise with solicitors in connection with property sales, providing documentation and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with mortgage companies
- Negotiate and arrange payment plans
- Prepare and maintain case files
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and written correspondence from customers, solicitors, and mortgage companies courteously and efficiently, maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
- Take and process payments accurately via telephone or internal payment systems
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all data entry, filing, and storage
- Take ownership of daily tasks, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies and standards.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role and level of responsibility
Skills and Experience
- High standard of letter writing ability and good organisational skills
- Strong oral and written communication
- A ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Good level of understanding on how to deal effectively with complaints
- Able to prioritise your own workload
- Good attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
- Work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Good knowledge of Outlook 365 products (Excel, Email)
- Be proactive
- Experience in an administrative or customer services role.
