At Mews, we dream big. As a Hotel Tech unicorn valued at $2.5b, we’re propelling new-generation cloud technology within global hospitality. With our industry-leading property management solution, we enable the world’s most revolutionary hospitality brands to accelerate their digital transformation.
About the role
Revenue Operations at Mews runs the systems and processes behind a $300M+ ARR commercial engine — Salesforce, Nue, HubSpot, Databricks, and Gong across 40+ markets and a 300+ person GTM organisation. Much of what keeps this machine running is still driven by manual effort: data pulls, approval chases, routing decisions, enrichment, and process coordination that humans handle today but shouldn’t have to. This role exists to change that.
The GTM AI Builder is a high‑agency senior individual contributor who owns the design, development, and continuous improvement of AI‑powered tooling and automation across the full GTM stack. This is not a support role, it is a builder role with a direct mandate to reduce manual process, increase GTM throughput, and ship systems that scale without adding headcount. The expectation is end‑to‑end ownership: from problem definition through production delivery, iteration, and measurable impact.
At IC5 level, this role operates with significant autonomy, sets technical direction for GTM tooling, and actively raises the capability of the engineers and operators around them.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of AI and automation initiatives across marketing automation, quote‑to‑cash, sales lifecycle, and support operations, from problem definition and scoping through production release and iteration, with no hand‑holding from product management or design.
- Design and build the GTM Engineering Platform: AI‑powered modules including Pipeline Command Center, Deal Passport, Territory Intelligence, Quote Builder, Manager Lens, Digest Center, and Conversion Intelligence replacing manual workflows across BDR, AE, and RevOps functions.
- Architect and ship AI‑powered pipelines that replace manual GTM processes, including lead scoring and routing, deal enrichment, account radar (new hotel discovery), onboarding orchestration, forecasting signals, and Gong‑driven coaching intelligence.
- Engage directly with RevOps leadership and GTM stakeholders to identify build priorities, translate operational pain into technical scope, and maintain alignment on delivery cadence and outcome metrics.
- Build rapidly and iterate based on real feedback: prototype in days, ship to production in weeks, establish a pattern of continuous improvement rather than polished one‑time releases.
- Make pragmatic use of AI development tools, LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI), and cloud‑native integrations — solving problems at scale without reinventing infrastructure that already exists.
- Establish reusable patterns, services, and frameworks that accelerate self‑serve capability across the GTM and RevOps teams, reducing future build time on adjacent problems.
- Set technical direction for GTM tooling, make and document architecture decisions, and champion AI‑native development practices through code review, pairing, and direct coaching of engineers and operations staff.
- Define and communicate technical decisions in clear, non‑technical terms to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders, maintaining alignment and influencing investment priorities.
Qualifications
- Seven or more years delivering production software with measurable business outcomes in a product‑driven company; experience in a high‑growth SaaS environment, startup, or scale‑up strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at senior IC level without dedicated product managers or designers — independently defines scope, navigates ambiguity, makes architecture trade‑offs, and owns delivery and outcomes end‑to‑end.
- Hands‑on experience building against CRM and GTM platform APIs (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent), including workflow automation, event‑driven logic, and complex data integrations across multiple systems.
- Fluency with LLM APIs and production AI workflows: demonstrated experience shipping agents, enrichment pipelines, summarisation systems, or AI‑assisted automation in a real operational context, not prototypes.
- Track record of leading complex, cross‑functional automation initiatives with direct commercial impact; prior experience in or closely alongside a RevOps, Sales Ops, or GTM Analytics function is a meaningful advantage.
- Active practitioner of modern AI development tools including Claude, Lovable, Cursor, or equivalent; familiarity with agent frameworks, MCP integrations, and workflow automation tooling.
- Ability to think at systems level: understands how GTM processes connect across marketing, sales, deal desk, and post‑sale, and designs tooling that serves the full motion rather than isolated workflows.
- Experience with one or more of the following a strong plus: Nue or other CPQ/subscription billing platforms, Databricks, Gong API, Clay.
- Clear, direct communicator: translates operational problems into technical requirements and explains technical decisions to non‑technical stakeholders and senior leadership with equal confidence.
