Contract
Permanent schedule: 27 hours per week, distributed over three shifts; Monday to Saturday. Shift hours: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am. Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, Band 2 (AFC aligned): £12.92 per hour, plus a generous 41 % uplift as a night‑shift enhancement. Location: Community‑Based Canterbury.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience providing hands‑on care in a health or social care setting, ideally including end‑of‑life or community‑based care.
- A compassionate, person‑centred approach and the ability to support patients and families with dignity and empathy.
- Confidence working independently during night shifts while also contributing positively to a wider multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills, emotional resilience and a calm, professional approach in sensitive situations.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent desirable, but not essential.
- A valid driving licence and access to a car essential, as you will travel to patients’ homes across Marie Curie.
- Enhanced DBS criminal record check required.
