Overview
We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Female Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people at our supported living service Lions Cross in Godmanchester.
Responsibilities
- Teach new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage access to local communities, socialise and do various activities.
- Help people to gain confidence and independence to meet their goals, such as making dinner or going on holiday.
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
- Work as part of a team and support individuals with autism.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Resilience, flexibility and composure in approach.
- Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
- Experience working with individuals with autism.
- All applicants will undergo DBS checks and references.
- Some roles require male or female employees only as a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
Remuneration & Schedule
£13.13 up to £14.63 per hour with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply). Typical shifts are 8am‑3pm and 3pm‑10pm, Monday through Sunday. UK Driving Licence required.
