Assembly / Production Operative – Bacup
My client in the Bacup area is looking to add an experienced Assembly / Production Operative to their team. They manufacture a range of products for multiple industries, and the role involves working across different stages of the production process.
The Role
Working on various production and assembly machinery
Feeding raw materials into machines
Operating lifting equipment and general production machinery
Performing basic quality checks and testing
Assembling, packing and labelling finished goods for dispatch
Order picking and packing
Dressing raw castings (cutting aluminium castings, grinding, drilling, tapping, minor assembly)
Hours
Monday to Friday
08:00–16:45
Experience Required
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
Experience in plastics is beneficial but not essential
Ability to work safely and follow production processes
