An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Hospitality Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Thetford, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers. This is a purpose built care home designed for older people requiring general or dementia residential and nursing care.

Responsibilities
- Develop a service experience that fits within our family vision and values; being compassion, empathy and transparency in our service delivery
- Develop and maintain a positive working environment for all staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality service
- Ensure that all residents are provided with an exceptional experience and that their needs and expectations are met and exceeded
- Manage the food service operation, working closely with the executive chef including menu planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality meals in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop and maintain a robust activities program that is tailored to the interests and needs of the residents and is engaging, fun, and promotes health and wellness
- Maintain and manage best first impression experience
- Ensure the housekeeping function is effective, efficient, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility
Experience and Skills
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the principles of first impressions and the ability to ensure that guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive
- Knowledge of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and delivery, as well as a good understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements
- Strong understanding of the needs and interests of older people and the ability to develop and deliver a range of activities that are engaging, fun, and promote health and wellness
- Strong understanding of the principles of housekeeping, including cleaning, hygiene, and infection control
- Strong understanding of budget management and the ability to manage costs effectively whilst still delivering high-quality service
