Support Worker – Holly Court (Twilight/evening shifts)
Location: Holly Court, Mirfield, WF14 0DQ
Salary: £12.81 per hour
Hours: Part‑time (20–30 hours) including alternate weekend work
Shift times: 5–6 pm to 10–11 pm
Responsibilities
- Support residents with meals, cooking and baking activities.
- Help with personal care, including bathing, showering and toileting.
- Provide meaningful activities at home and in the community (e.g., cinema, bowling).
- Assist with health‑care needs, routine checks and attending appointments.
- Administer medication and provide gastronomy care.
- Encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Build relationships with residents and their families to provide person‑centred care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in care or work with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities is welcome but not essential.
- Completion of all required training will be provided on the job.
- Must have at least 6 months of UK‑based work experience (any sector); this does not apply to school/college leavers.
- Appropriate Enhanced DBS check and reference checks are required.
- Ability to work on weekday evenings and alternate weekend days.
