About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Psychology and Social Sciences to join our secondary school team, with a primary focus on Key Stage 5 (KS5). The successful candidate will inspire and challenge students, fostering a deep understanding of the subject while developing critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.

  • Lead on the delivery, planning and assessment of the curriculum.
  • Teach other social sciences as required.
  • Deliver lessons in Key Stage 5 and support induction for new teachers.
  • Work collaboratively within the department, setting high expectations for all learners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (ability to teach to Key Stage 5).
  • Experience in teaching social sciences, or the ability to teach out of subject.
  • Versatility to take on a range of activities and work within a collaborative team.
  • High expectations of all learners.
