We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. You’llbe passionate about good food and have the opportunity to work across two ofour thriving kitchens, learning from our exceptional Head Chef.
There’s the Living Space – for easy lakeside eating, meetingand lounging – and our Rampsbeck Restaurant, inspired by the region’s produce –with dishes that showcase heritage ingredients and flavours rooted in place,expressed with contemporary flair.
You’ll bring culinary passion, creativity, and meticulousattention to detail to the team, whilst supporting the creation of innovativemenus and kitchen operations. You’ll ensure top-notch food quality with yourculinary finesse and unwavering team commitment, delivering extraordinarydining experiences to our guests.

As our Chef de Partie you’ll be:
- Assistingour Executive Chef and Head Chef in the effective and efficientorganisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation, ensuringall kitchen staff carry out their allotted duties to the Hotels standards.
- Carryingout the preparation, cooking and portioning of all food dishes includingstaff meals to the Hotels standards of quality and quantity.
- Maintaininghigh standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen areas and beyond.
- Complyingwith all instructions given by immediate supervisor.
- Preparingfor business in accordance with projected needs.
- Followingall schedules within the kitchen and completion of daily check sheets andtemperature logs.
- Assistingcolleagues in stocking up when necessary.
- Contributingto the smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen and back of houseareas.
- Undertakingthe many tasks associated with the preparation, storage and service offood.
- Maintaininga high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- Maintainingan organised, clean and safe workplace, not only for yourself but also forthose around.
The skills you’ll be sharing with us:
- FoodHygiene certificate/training
- NVQlevel 1& 2 or equivalent as a minimum
- Flexibleattitude to working hours and variable shift patterns
- Knowledgeof ingredients and the ability to use them in a creative way
- Interestand passion for the food industry
- Previousexperience of working in busy kitchen
- Abilityto remain calm under extreme pressure
- Previousexperience in a similar establishment
- Beable to run the pass at all service times successfully
- Keento develop and eager to learn
- Professionalpersonal presentation
- Responsible,reliable, and punctual
- Beliefin being a team player
- Ensureeffective stock rotation of all products to avoid unnecessary waste
- Excellenttime management skills
- Ateam player
