Love seals and puffins? Make them your co‑workers! We’re hiring Admissions and Retail Assistants at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, where the wildlife is as curious as our guests!
You need to have flexible availability for work from a starting time of between 9 am and 10 am to a closing time of between 4 pm and 8 pm (no split shifts) 5 days a week including weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for guests, offering a warm welcome and providing information about their visit.
- Assist with admissions, ensuring the correct ticket type is processed and maximizing visitor spends.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the admissions and retail areas.
- Help stock retail displays and assist with sales, promoting SEA LIFE–related products.
- Handle guest queries, ensuring all interactions are positive and professional.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in fast‑paced customer‑facing roles with a friendly, can‑do attitude.
- Ready at all times to take a flying jump from Admissions to Retail!
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with visitors of all ages.
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and peak holiday periods.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to a fun, dynamic environment.
