Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Role
Reporting into the Team Leader, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the department, ensuring work is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Final preparation of patterns, moulds, and castings
- Using hand tools, air tools, and abrasives to achieve high‑quality finishes
- Working independently where required to meet production demands
- Checking drawings and route card instructions for accuracy and clarity
- Supporting process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in good working condition
Skills & Experience Needed
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar hands‑on environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings (advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
