Trainee Mobile Maintenance Technician

Sheffield – daily travel up to 2hrs radius from home – paid after 1 hour.

Monday‑Friday. Salary £25,800 plus OT up to £10,000 additional. Hours normally 8 am‑4 pm (earliest start 5 am). Company van and fuel card provided. Official UK Government Security Classification check required.

Responsibilities

• Visit 6‑12 sites per day, following a 28‑day rota.
• Conduct IT hardware auditing, PC cleaning, and data centre maintenance.
• Service and maintain delivery lockers, replacing parts and ensuring functionality.
• Work in technical rooms, cleaning hardware and identifying hazards.
• Communicate with clients about hazards, and produce written reports via tablet.
• Stock company van monthly with required equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full employment and residential history for 5 years available.
• DBS check and UK Government Security Clearance required.
• Experience or willingness to learn in IT hardware maintenance and cleaning.
