Job Overview

Multi Trade Operative (Joinery bias) – Site based covering Chippenham, Royal Wootton Basset, Newbury and surrounding areas.

Key Information

  • Standard Hours: Monday–Friday, 39 hours per week
  • Location: 3 sites within surrounding areas

Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of enabling works prior to Retrofits such as loft boarding, walk‑ways, loft hatch alterations, and airing cupboard construction.
  • Ensure all internal doors have a 10 mm clearance gap before commencement of retrofit works.
  • Support with labouring duties, including clearing loft spaces and assisting site teams as required.
  • Receive and allocate materials.
  • Work in tenanted properties with strict adherence to health and safety policies.
  • Use job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
  • Manage own day and workload, delivering outstanding service to customers.

Qualifications

  • Multi Trade Operative background with joinery experience essential.
  • Social Housing experience required.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Joinery or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • DBS check completed.
