Teaching Assistant Level 2

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant for Crosslee Community Primary School. Crosslee is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with six other primary schools, all based in Greater Manchester.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Fixed term to 31st August 2027 or upon return of the post holder
• Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only
• Number of positions: 2
• DBS Check Required: Enhanced DBS check
• Pre-Employment Health Assessment Required: Yes
• Start Date (subject to pre-employment checks): 1st September 2026
• Salary: Grade 3 – Scale Points 5 to 6, £25,583 – £25,989 pro rata (Actual salary £18,378‑£18,670)

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a teacher and support children with their learning
• Work with groups of children including the delivery of programmes of work
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
• Establish good relations with pupils and respond appropriately to individual needs
• Give regular feedback in relation to pupils’ progress and attainment
