Assistant Site Supervisor

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Have responsibility for master keys and ensure the site is opened and closed at designated times.
• Ensure the school is secure, free from intruders, and that all alarms are set appropriately.
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and cleaning functions around the school site.
• Operate appropriate machinery and learn and use specialist systems and equipment.
• Monitor and provide site access to external contractors.
• Understand the importance of health and safety, have a good working knowledge of health and safety at work, and comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Show initiative and have the ability to work independently.
• Enjoy working in a very busy and demanding environment.
• Believe in the importance of teamwork and a collaborative approach.
• Be self‑motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible with a pro‑active approach to problem solving.
• Be reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Be committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the principles and practice of equal opportunities.
• Be committed to safeguarding all young people.
