Store Delivery Driver
Part Time or Full Time – 19 or 36.75 hours per week.
Permanent Contract.
Shifts available Monday – Sunday, 7:00am – 10:00pm.
UK Notional hourly rate £14.12 per hour (inclusive of £0.27 per hour store‑specific location allowance).
B&Q Aberdeen – Garthdee Road.
Overview
Join us as a Store Delivery Driver and deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customers receive their deliveries in excellent condition and on time.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver multi‑drop orders to customers’ homes using 3.5‑ton vans, handling items such as paint tins and flooring packs. When not delivering, work on the shopfloor to fulfil customer orders and support colleagues, using new technology. Represent the B&Q brand, prioritising customers and maintaining efficiency and safety.
Qualifications & Experience
- Manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1, covering 3.5T vehicles) held for at least one year with no more than 6 points.
- Experience as a multi‑drop delivery driver is useful but not essential.
- Great communication skills, ability to plan under busy conditions, organised and analytical thinking.
- Flexible to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
- Willingness to undergo Experian and DVLA checks, as well as a DBS check.
