Role Overview

Logistics Transport Planner

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transport routes and vehicle allocations
• Use transport management system (TMS) and other software
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, driver hours, and health & safety requirements
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and availability
• Maintain accurate transport records and planning documentation
• Managing palletised stock and logistics

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in transport planning, logistics, or fleet coordination
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Good geographical knowledge and route‑planning ability
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office and transport planning systems
• Understanding of driver hours, transport compliance, and health & safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCPC qualification or knowledge of transport compliance

Salary

£30,000 – £32,000 per annum PAYE, paid monthly

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
