Cover Supervisor
Location: Rhondda, Wales • Salary: £110 per day
A leading specialist provider is seeking motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join a secondary school in Rhondda. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and well-being, making a positive impact on their educational journey. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students in Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Support teachers with classroom management and behaviour.
- Assist pupils with their learning activities and provide support where needed.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Follow school policies and procedures to promote a safe environment for all pupils.
Requirements
- A keen interest in working with children and young people.
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children and/or in the care sector.
- Open to training and development opportunities.
- A proactive work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Good understanding of special educational needs.
- Ability to provide a range of support to pupils.
- Patience, understanding, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Additional Information
This role offers excellent pay, weekly wages, and flexible working hours from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
