We are looking for a Workshop Technician to work at a client based in Wrexham.
Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Assembly: Set up and operate production machinery, hand tools, or CNC equipment based on detailed engineering drawings and work orders.
- Quality Control: Monitor products during manufacturing, conduct first‑off checks, and inspect finished goods for defects.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic fault‑finding, adjust machine settings to maximize output, and carry out routine equipment cleaning.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly comply with regulations.
- Inventory & Administration: Monitor material usage, log issued tools/stock, and accurately fill out order checklists and final inspection reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or fast‑paced mechanical workshop environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical diagrams, use hand and power tools, and learn new machinery quickly.
- Attention to Detail: High precision to meet production targets and maintain rigorous quality standards.
Hours of Work: Mon‑Thur 8am‑4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays.
This is a temp to perm role.
