Occupational Therapist – Front Door Service

Salary: £33‑£36 per hourJob type: Day to Day CoverLocation: BarnetContract: 3‑6 months with potential for extension

Main Duties

• Conduct holistic occupational therapy assessments for adults presenting with new or changing care needs at the Front Door.
• Develop and implement person‑centred intervention plans to support independence in daily living activities.
• Provide advice and recommendations on equipment, adaptations and community resources to enable individuals to live safely at home.
• Work collaboratively with social care teams and partner agencies to facilitate timely access to services.
• Contribute to safeguarding adults and ensure all assessments and interventions comply with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely records and reports in line with organisational policies.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions and continuous professional development activities.

To Be Successful

• Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in Adult Social Care.
• HCPC Registration.
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Occupational Therapist Qualification.
