HGV Driver

Vehicle Collection & Delivery Trade Plate Driver

MKM is the leading independent builders’ merchant in the UK, established in 1995. We operate over 135 branches and employ more than 3,200 people nationwide. We are currently looking for a dedicated driver to join our fleet and help deliver essential building products across the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi‑drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, consistently delivering top‑quality customer service.
• Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles equipped with a HIAB crane.
• Assist with yard and warehouse duties as required.
• Work every other Saturday throughout the year. Saturday working is a requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• HIAB certification and experience preferred.
• Class 2 licence, digital tachograph card, and up‑to‑date CPC training are essential.
• Knowledge of the building industry and building products is a distinct advantage.
• Professional appearance and a positive, friendly, and helpful manner.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, and maintained a positive attitude.
