ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Melody Transcriber & Video Editor/Song Transcriber & Video Editor, you’ll report into the Content Production Manager, helping to deliver exceptional quality across all karaoke content formats – from transcribing vocal melodies, to video creation and metadata filing. You’ll be a reliable team player and help drive production targets forward, adapting quickly to changing needs, and pitching in across the team when extra hands are required.
This role would suit someone who enjoys focused, process-driven work and takes pride in precision and detail. It’s a great fit for someone with a musical ear, whether as a musician, singer, or through a strong personal interest. While this is a technical role within content production, it focuses on accuracy and execution rather than creative music production, social media or marketing, your work will be central to delivering seamless and enjoyable singing experiences for our passionate community.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You’ll be a key contributor to the production of our karaoke content, ensuring weekly team targets are met, and quality control is maintained across video & song pitch data production
- You’ll review and QA content, ensuring all stages of production are thoroughly checked and any errors are reported and rectified.
- You’ll be responsible for logging content created using our internal Content Management System to maintain organised and accessible archives.
- You’ll maintain project folders and files, ensuring regular spot checks and house keeping is carried out.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Musicality – A good ear for pitch, with the ability to accurately pitch-match or work with relative pitch. Comfortable using DAWs (professional or hobby experience welcome).
- Strong organisation skills – Enjoys working in a process-driven way, with a systematic and reliable approach to tasks.
- Attention to detail – Takes pride in producing high-quality work, with a sharp eye for accuracy and consistency.
- Clear communication – Communicates confidently and clearly, sharing concise feedback, timely updates, and flagging issues early.
- Proactive mindset – Anticipates what’s needed, takes initiative to solve problems, and can manage priorities effectively to deliver great results.

- Keen interest in music, singing, karaoke, music production and pop culture
- Familiar in using task management tools such as Asana and Slack
- Experience working in small companies and startup environments
