IKEA Greenwich is looking to welcome Customer Order Pickers to join our hard‑working Fulfilment team on a 6‑month temporary contract. In IKEA we call this a Fulfilment Operations Co‑worker.
As an Operations Co‑worker in IKEA’s Fulfilment team you’ll be right in the heart of the action—picking, packing, and prepping orders. It’s a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where teamwork, energy, and a knack for staying organised turn a busy day into a satisfying one. - Competitive hourly rate: £14.80 per hour
- 20 hours per week, 5 days per week, with every fourth weekend off; shifts vary between 6 am and 10 pm

What You’ll Need to Have
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; enthusiasm to thrive in an active workplace is required
- Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail
- Experience using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Self‑initiative to start tasks and participate productively in group efforts
- Compliance with health and safety guidelines; applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Comfortable with extensive manual handling
What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
- Using systems to pick and prepare customer orders in a timely manner
- Manual handling of heavy stock
- Operating or working around heavy machinery (e.g., forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks) to safely and efficiently transport goods within the warehouse
- Ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed to maintain a secure environment for customers and co‑workers
