Location: Regional Occupational Health Team (ROHT), Vimy Barrack, Catterick Garrison

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Monday‑Wednesday, 7.5 hours per day)

Main duties of the job

Support ROHT clinical staff in the care of Service Personnel receiving specialist occupational health interventions. Responsibilities include:

• Transitional support for Service Personnel moving to civilian life following employment decision.
• Provide advice to Personnel Recovery Officers and at monthly case reviews.
• Attend monthly case reviews with Occupational Health Clinician to review caseload.
• Attend triage meetings to receive allocated Service Personnel onto caseload.
• Lead or act as link for Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) in the department; undertake IPC audits, attend regional IPC updates and share information.
• Lead or act as link for equipment care; ensure equipment is safe.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
• GCSE or equivalent in English

Driving Licence

• Must have a current full United Kingdom driving licence

• Good communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Self‑motivated
• Ability to manage own diary and work independently

Requirements

• Security clearance – basic security check required.
• Proof of Hepatitis B immunity (serology levels) required.
• 6‑month probation period applicable.
