Sales / Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales/Service Advisor position at a reputable independent business in Edinburgh (West).

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, customer-focused professional to join a dynamic team within a busy automotive environment.

• Bonus potential of up to £560 per month (OTE £31,720)

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email
• Advise customers on a range of products and services
• Accurately take customer orders and manage bookings for trailer hire, towbar fitting, and workshop services
• Ensure stock is received, displayed, and presented to maximise sales
• Support workshop team with workflow coordination and updates
• Handle cash, banking, invoicing, and credit transactions accurately
• Maintain administration and filing systems to company standards
• Uphold Health & Safety regulations and maintain a professional, tidy working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in a sales, service, or customer‑facing role
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to handle sales transactions and basic administration confidently
• Customer‑centric attitude with proactive sales approach
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Forklift licence desirable; training can be provided
