Connected Kerb is a privately owned company and the UK’s largest Charge Point Operators delivering On-Street Electric Vehicle solutions for many of the UK’s largest Local Authorities (LA) with over 10,000 deployed and in operation. CK’s vision is to support the democratisation of the EV experience by providing the off-street charging experience on-street and to build, operate and maintain >100,000 Electric Vehicle Charging Points by 2030 in support of the UK’s Net Zero Programme run by OZEV. CK has won a significant portion of the LA Low Emission Vehicle Initiative (LEVI) tenders and is building a new delivery team to deliver this commitment across the UK.



Requirements



  • Working with our Install Partners to enforce compliance with safety procedures, CDM requirements and the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

  • Collect, analyse, and report quality metrics such as defect rates, auditing results, and process performance.

  • Prepare monthly or quarterly quality performance reports for management review.




  • Work closely with the site supervisors, planning their audit schedule and providing support documentation.

  • Maintain and update documentation within the management system including procedures, work instructions, records, and forms

  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of HSQC permits, and inspection records.

  • Foster a positive safety culture through proactive communication, leadership, and visible field presence.

  • Support the HSQC team in implementing and maintaining AI audit processes.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience



  • Certification in NEBOSH, or equivalent HSE credential required.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in health and safety supervision with a strong focus on quality assurance within highways, civil infrastructure or utilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of road construction hazards and working with electricity

  • Familiarity with local and national highway safety regulations and environmental standards.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to engage with diverse field teams.

  • Competent in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

  • Strong commitment to safety leadership and compliance.

  • Ability to identify and mitigate field-level risks proactively.

  • Skilled in coordinating safety efforts among multiple subcontractors.

  • Effective communicator with hands‑on field presence.
