Warehouse Supervisor / Manager – Immediate Start

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Salary: £30,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to join their team in Southend. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader looking to take ownership of day‑to‑day warehouse operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Lead, manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff
• Monitor productivity, workflow and performance to meet targets and deadlines
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Manage stock control, goods in/out, and accurate inventory records
• Support process improvements and drive operational efficiencies
• Handle any on‑site issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role
• Strong people management experience – able to lead and develop a team
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and operations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong work ethic
