Customer Order Management
Certain Advantage are recruiting 4 Customer Order Management Representatives in Peterborough for a 12‑month onsite contract (5 days/week).
Role Overview
Serve as the single point of contact for assigned accounts, managing the full order lifecycle to ensure accurate, on‑time delivery. We’re working with a global power technology company that designs and manufactures diesel and alternative‑fuel engines, generators, and related components for a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts end‑to‑end (setup, order entry/changes, escalations, logistics).
- Liaise with customers, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, and internal teams to fulfil orders.
- Provide clear communication and accurate documentation throughout.
- Resolve complex queries in line with SLAs; escalate when required.
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
- Ensure export compliance and complete shipping documentation.
- Support quality issue resolution (non‑conformance claims via QMS).
- Assist with customer visits and reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements and departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Results‑driven with strong communication skills.
- Customer‑focused and collaborative.
- Knowledge of order lifecycle, order processing, and support systems.
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
- Proactive approach to customer support and continuous improvement.
