About the Role
- to work effectively as part of the management team to support adults with learning disabilites to live independently within the community, promoting independence, rights, choicesand inclusion.
- to ensure the service is deliverecompliance with relevant legislation
Key Responsibilities
- undertake day to day operational responsiblities for tenants, supporting individuals to live independently in the community.
- responsible for induction, probation, supervision, identify and tracking learning and development needs of staff. Completing rotas, implementing the councils policys and procedurers.
- shared responsiblity up to 100 staff in managers absence.
- Accountable for safe management of expenditure and income for tenants including cash, invoices, cheques in relation to thier personal finances.
- Regular finacial audits
- medication audits
- Producing and processing manual and electronic data and esponsible for ensuring accuracy of information, confidentiality and data security.
What will be expected from me
- flexibility nad may necessitate occassional evening and weekend work.
- good keyboard skills
- support manager to ensure safe delivery of service
- participate in a telephone on call service on a rota basis with responsibility across the whole service.
Essential requirements
- Level 3 NVQ care or Diploma
- Willing to work towards a leadership management level 3/5 qualification
- Relevant training to meet needs of a CQC regulated service
- Significant experience of working in a similar setting with learning disabilities.
