We are recruiting for a Line Support Technician to join a busy manufacturing and production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician with a strong electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical background who enjoys fault finding, process improvement, and supporting production operations.
Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment, processes, and products operate efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to production and manufacturing teams.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on products, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Investigate production issues and support root cause analysis activities.
- Carry out maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment.
- Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Assist with the introduction of new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Produce technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support and share knowledge with colleagues across the production environment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or technical environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or engineering documentation.
- Good understanding of electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience working with production equipment, testing processes, or maintenance activities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Engineering qualification desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant experience.
