We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dispatch Agent working on the PM shift.
Working hours
37.5 per week
Shift Schedule
Monday – Friday. Start/Finish: 1400-2200 (30 min unpaid break)
What You Will Be Doing
- Preparing courier schedules and routes
- Coordinating the distribution of work amongst couriers to help them achieve station’s operational goals in the most efficient way
- Monitoring the daily delivery cycle, updating systems with accurate information to ensure correct execution of the daily pick-up and delivery assignments
- Providing support to the couriers and assisting them with issue resolution
- Contacting customers when needed to obtain additional information or advise on potential service-related issues
- Proactively reporting any issues that occurred during the daily delivery cycle to management and compiling reports on station’s productivity, volumes and performance
What Do You Bring With You
- Experience in coordinating a team in a busy transport and/or dispatch environment an advantage
- Good Microsoft Office and PC skills
- Good geographical knowledge
- Focused on accuracy and attention to detail
- Driven to solve problems while using planning and organizing skills
- Able to communicate and align with different stakeholders
- Ability to manage own and teams time effectively with attention to detail in a pressurized environment
