Job Title: Teaching Assistant with Midday Assistant Duties

Salary: Teaching Assistant Scale 3 point 5-6 £15,524.41-£15,770.80; Midday Assistant Scale 1 point 3 £2,625.32 (pro rata actual salary)

Hours: Teaching Assistant 26.25 Hours per week; Midday Assistant 4.58 per week

Working Pattern: Part time, term time

Contract type: Permanent

Closing date: 1st July 2026

Interview Date: 7th and 8th July 2026

Start Date: September 2026

We are looking for a friendly and self‑motivated Teaching Assistant to work in our Resource Room, starting September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support a child with physical and learning disabilities in the Resource Room
• Work in a 1:1 situation and teach small groups
• Deliver interventions such as Speech & Language or Occupational Therapy (training provided)
• Use technology such as iPads or computers to adapt work for children with special educational needs
• Work well with other staff and agencies
• Be kind, friendly, and emotionally resilient with a positive attitude

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Have the appropriate childcare qualifications or will engage in appropriate training to obtain qualifications
