Job Title

Experienced Music Teacher/ECT Music Teacher – Permanent contract starting September 2026 at a ‘Good’ graded secondary school in the Borough of Camden.

Job Summary

A high‑achieving school seeks an experienced or newly qualified music teacher to join a well‑resourced department and deliver engaging year‑long music programmes to students across key stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver music lessons, setting suitable learning objectives.
• Create a safe, enjoyable and inclusive learning environment.
• Use varied teaching methods to engage and support all learners.
• Participate in extracurricular activities to extend learning outside the classroom.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experienced music teacher or Early Careers Teacher completing a PGCE/SCITT programme.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality music lessons.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
