Learning Support Assistant – Secondary
Location: Rochdale
Start date: ASAP / After Easter
Contract: Full-time, long-term
TimePlan Education is supporting a welcoming secondary school in the search for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young people access learning, build confidence and achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Help students access the curriculum through encouragement and tailored support.
- Work closely with teaching staff to support progress and engagement.
- Assist with classroom routines, interventions and behaviour support where needed.
Qualifications
- Have experience supporting young people in a secondary school setting.
- Be patient, proactive and committed to helping pupils succeed.
- Be confident building rapport with students and staff.
