Job Summary

• A vacancy has arisen for the position of Senior Airframe Integrator within the Wing Airframe Architecture and Integration skill.
• Role focuses on either Future Wing Architecture Definition or Legacy Product Support.
• Future Wing Architecture Definition involves defining the airframe architecture for next‑generation Airbus wings, working with aircraft design, loads & aerodynamics, propulsion, fuselage, landing gear and industrial teams.
• Legacy Product Support involves technical integration and delivery of wing engineering activities for A300, A320, A330, A350 and A380 families, including certification analysis and continuous airworthiness support.

How You Will Contribute to the Team

• Lead cross‑functional engineering activities for design, analysis, systems installation and manufacturing engineering.
• Support legacy product development: certification analysis, engineering solutions for new aircraft weight variants, manufacturing improvements, in‑service issues, and continuous airworthiness.
• Apply system engineering methodologies and verify compliance with requirements, directives and principles focusing on product integrity, safety, reliability and design for manufacture and assembly.
• Define integrated planning to deliver to customers on time, cost and quality.
• Lead and support adoption of new working methodologies for future Airbus wings.
• Initiate and support continuous improvement projects to minimise waste and maximise operational efficiency.
• Develop towards recognition as a Component Architect within the Airframe Architecture & Integration engineering community.

Qualifications

• Degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent.
• Experience in all major structural zones of the wing component.
• Experience in design, analysis, systems installation and integration.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Catia/3DEXPERIENCE.
• Proficient in static analysis processes, methods and toolsets.
• Comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary relationships and interactions.
• Proficiency in system engineering methodologies.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Ability to communicate and present solutions to executive‑level audiences, adapting style to different hierarchical levels.
• Strong practical problem‑solving and innovative solution development.
• Comfortable working in an environment of high uncertainty and change.
• Strong stakeholder management ability.
• Negotiation‑level proficiency in English.
