The role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead shifts, develop and oversee care plans, mentor junior staff, and ensure the safety and well‑being of the young people in your care. Your experience will be key in creating a positive, stable environment and guiding your team to provide exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and organise daily shifts, maintaining high standards of care
  • Implement and monitor individual care and support plans
  • Mentor and support support staff, promoting team development
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
  • Liaise with professionals, families, and external agencies
  • Manage behaviour effectively and promote positive behaviour strategies
  • Support healthcare routines and handle administrative duties
  • Participate in on‑call and sleep‑in duty rotations to ensure continuous support
