Assembly Technician – Medical Device

£26,000 – £28,000 depending on experience + pension + 25 days holiday. Full‑time, permanent position. Manufacturing role within a growing medical device company. Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (commutable from Abingdon, Witney, Didcot, Wantage, Oxford, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas).

Qualifications

• Experience assembling small, precise components (medical devices, electronics, precision engineering or similar)
• Able to follow detailed work instructions and maintain accurate records
• Good attention to detail and comfortable working with intricate assemblies
• Experience within a regulated environment (ISO 13485, GMP or similar) would be beneficial
• Reliable team player with good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices in line with work instructions and quality standards
• Complete production, testing and inspection activities
• Maintain accurate manufacturing and traceability records
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, organised and compliant
• Support product development, testing and continuous improvement activities
• Assist with documentation, SOP updates and manufacturing record
