Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview

The Mechanical Design Engineer will produce engineering deliverables for work‑packs/sub‑systems or entire projects throughout the project life cycle, providing technical solutions to complex engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering deliverables for work‑packs, sub‑systems or entire projects across the lifecycle.
• Develop technical solutions to complex engineering problems, including concept design, detailed design, calculations, analysis, and technical reports.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver within specified time, budget, specification and quality standards.
• Accept direction from the Senior Engineer.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering (BEng/MEng) or equivalent.
• Experience in engineering design and development.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
