Role
Inclusion and Engagement Manager – a key role for someone who understands the realities of working with young people facing complex challenges and can use that experience to oversee services, people, and safeguarding with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery managers working across our Alternative Education provision
- Support and develop a passionate team
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and inclusive support
- Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer, supporting strong safeguarding practice
- Work with schools, local authorities, and partners to improve outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
- Significant experience supporting young people with complex needs (for example SEMH, trauma, disengagement, safeguarding)
- Background in social work, youth work, targeted support services or pastoral care
- Experience shaping or delivering services for vulnerable young people
- Experience managing and supporting others, including delivery managers
- Strong safeguarding knowledge, including confidence acting as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer (DDSO/DDSL)
