Job Description:

Job Description We are looking for an experienced and hands-on supervisor who can lead day-to-day cleaning operations, uphold health and safety standards, and continuously improve cleaning practices. You will take ownership of people, processes and performance, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely and to company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the cleaning team and oversee day-to-day delivery of cleaning services at the client site Prepare cleaning schedules, allocate tasks, and manage staff rotas, holidays and sickness Manage periodic cleaning schedules, including preparation for specialist cleans Oversee cleaning equipment, consumables and materials, reporting repairs as required Manage stock takes and ordering of consumables in line with agreed budgets Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistently high cleaning standards and introduce best practice Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed, including accident reporting, investigations and toolbox talks Maintain accurate site records in line with company requirements Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Strong operational cleaning experience with knowledge of COSHH Supervisory or management experience within a cleaning operation Ability to work unsupervised and take full responsibility Calm and effective under pressure with excellent attention to detail Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload Highly flexible and adaptable in an ever-changing environment IT literate with competency in Microsoft Office applications The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
