Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on an opportunity to recruit an experienced General Practice Surveyor to join a well-established and highly regarded independent property consultancy based in Surrey.
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity to take on a broad general practice position covering commercial agency, landlord & tenant matters, valuations and commerical property management. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio including retail, office, industrial and some residential assets, alongside significant responsibility and client interaction.
You will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of instructions while also contributing to the continued growth of the agency function.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising on the sale and letting of commercial property, including negotiating and progressing transactions
- Carrying out property inspections, measurements and viewings
- Undertaking and supporting rent reviews and lease renewals
- Assisting with and undertaking valuations across a range of asset types
- Supporting property management activities, including tenant liaison and inspections
- Providing market insight and supporting investment advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Producing clear and professional reports and advice
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience within commercial property, ideally within a general practice or agency environment
- Exposure to agency, landlord & tenant, valuations or property management
- MRICS / AssocRICS desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and client-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Package & Details
- Salary: £45,000 – £60,000
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
